Cili,a 14-year-old girl from Yunnan,China,experienced a second episode of blindness caused by branch retinal artery occlusion,Following an ophthalmology re-examination at Affiliated hospital of Yunnan University,She was referred to Cardiology department.

Dr.Yang Bei,Chief Physician of this department,proposed EECP treatment(They are taken 3units of Our EECP machine) based on the literature and clinical evidence.This therapy uses pneumatic cuffs on the lower limbs to compress and drive the blood back to aorta,thereby increasing ocular blood flow perfusion and improving ischemia.

After 6 sessions,her vision improved from 0.1 to 0.6.By 10th session,Cili has regained full vision,and fundus exam showed increased blood flow through the vessels,which greatly strengthened her confidence in the treatment.

The treatment continued for a total of 40 sessios,resulting in a final vision of 1.2.Further fundux examination revealed the formation of a new collateral blood vessel,Cili has now returned to her normal school life.
